As I shared yesterday, I’m at CPC in Orlando this year. So far, so good.
Tonight’s opening session has been great – the focus tonight is on INCM’s first initiative “Impart God’s Truths to this generation.”
Phil Vischer, creator of Veggie Tales, shared briefly tonight about his new project. If you haven’t heard about, let me encourage you to check it out. Phil has created “What’s in the Bible?” A creative, fun way to teach biblical literacy…using puppets! We’ve used these videos and think they are awesome! But tonight isn’t about a sales pitch. No, tonight is about affirming a principle.
The principle is the first initiative of INCM – “impart God’s Truth’s to this generation.” it’s not about methods, it’s not about a curriculum, it’s not about being cool or hip a – its about finding whatever works in your church or ministry context to teach kids God’s Word. I personally affirm this as a commitment for the ministry God has blessed me to lead. I believe a lasting commitment to this principle will change the lives of kids.
