It’s rude to toot your own horn – so I’ll toot it for you!

Sorry for the break in blogging – the holidays are so super busy I’ve been remiss in posting a new blog.  I wanted to take a minute to dote on you.  Last Sunday, our team did an amazing job getting the kids ready to go for their big debut in the Christmas service.  I was overwhelmed with pride at being able to say that the success of our kids’ christmas program came mainly from the efforts of volunteers!

This past week there were a couple of issues that popped up that needed help at the church – who do you call?  Children’s Ministry Workers!  Were the issues Children’s Ministry issues? Nope – but that didn’t stop the team from jumping in and helping out. You guys continually astound me at your faithfulness and ability to meet the needs that are there.

We minster as a team and we are a family.  Let me express my thanks to all those who have served this year and have faithfully given their time to serve the needs of the kids, the team, and the church. You are the ones who make ministry possible at Bethel Temple.  I would also like to say thank you to all who gathered around Nola to support her – the outpouring of love in her time of need was overwhelming.  It was another display of how you think as a family of ministers.

There have been many times that I have bragged about the quality of the volunteers in Children’s Ministry at Bethel to the rest of the staff and to others around the country. I continue to believe you are the finest group of people I have ever had the privilege to lead.

I can never fully express my appreciation for all you do – but please take a minute to stop by the check-in booths in either the Nursery of Children’s Center and pick up a token of my appreciation for you.

First, pastor Spencer.. Its great to see you blogging again!

Secondly, I do not work full time in the childrens ministry bc I am part of the music ministry. I am more of a backup , but I’d like you all to know how much you mean to me. I would also like to thank all of you. Bethel truly has the best childrens ministry out of all other churches I’ve ever been to. I know it is because of the. dedication and consistancy of all of you. My children really have been able to grow here because of you, and how you’ve been a vessel. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Please know that I lift up the childrens ministry daily in prayer. :)

due to my recent surgery on Dec 1st, I’ve been on ” bed rest”. I’ve missed the past few Sundays & Wednesdays , but I know they were a blessing to everyone.

Wishing you all joy and hope this season as we remember the night our savior was born :)

    Love, Amanda
